BROWNIES WITH NUTELLA FROSTING? Your weekend baking plans sorted! The best part? They’re delicious and a lot more nutritious than your regular brownies. And we suggest doubling up on the Nutella icing as you’ll want to keep some aside for on toast too?

Happy Friday!☀️

½ cups roasted hazelnuts (without skins)
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
2tbsp maple syrup or honey
6 soft dates pits removed
1/3 cup cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
1/3-1/2 cup milk

Add all ingredients except the milk to your narrow base OmniBlend jug and blend on high speed using the tamper to form a thick paste. Then add a little milk bit by bit for the right icing consistency.

Black bean brownies with Nutella frosting- They are pretty damn good and very lekker!!

These brownies are super simple to make, nutrient-dense and my kids always love them.

I like to batch cook beans in my @instantpotsa and then use it for baking, salads, dips, and Mexican wraps. It works out cheaper than buying tinned beans and only takes about 30 minutes. The best part is they cook without supervision, which is great because I am known for creating big messes on my hob if I am distracted:)

They are great for lunchboxes or you could dress them up for a party with frosting.

The ‘Nutella’ frosting is also delicious and is great stirred through porridge, for dipping fruit or just eat it out of the jar.
I used my trusty @omniblendsa sa to make the Nutella.

The recipe is now up on the blog.
