These chocolate protein donuts by @jchealth_ were way too good not to share! ??⁠

Soft, cakey and fluffy, sweetened with banana and easy to make – what more could you want!?⁠


Donuts ?⁠
– 1/2 cup almond flour⁠
– 1/2 cup buckwheat flour⁠
– 1/2 cup protein powder (Jess used PranaOn)⁠
– 3/4 cup plant milk⁠
– 1 tsp baking soda⁠
– 1 tsp cinnamon⁠
– 1/2 cup peanut butter⁠
– 2 mashed bananas⁠
– 1 TBSP cocoa⁠
– 1 flax egg (or normal egg)*⁠
– Pinch of salt⁠

Avocado frosting ?⁠
– 1/2 an avocado⁠
– 1 TBSP cocoa⁠
– 1 TBSP maple syrup⁠

– Preheat oven to 180 degrees⁠
– Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl⁠
– Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth. Add in the milk and peanut butter⁠
– Next mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients⁠
– Spoon mixture into your donut tray and cook for 15 minutes⁠
– Top with avocado frosting⁠
– Enjoy!⁠
