Ingredients:
1 cup butter (you can sub ½ cup apple sauce or banana for a healthier option)
1 ½ cup PurDate sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups flour
9 oz chocolate chips (use semi-sweet or bittersweet for less sugar)
2 tsp vanilla

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter, date sugar, and eggs.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix in vanilla and chocolate chips. Set dough in fridge for 30 minutes to harden.
Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet.
Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes at 350F until edges are just slightly golden brown.
